M&G Investment Management Limited (M&G) is the sub-manager for Prudential International Funds - Pan European and Global Technology, the underlying Luxembourg-registered fund into which the Prudential Unit Trusts - Pan European Equity Fund and Global Technology Fund feed.

M&G has its own distinctive investment philosophy based on a long-term view and the reluctance to follow fashion.

Investment Approach

M&G's investment approach recognises that value is a function of both quality and price. Low/high price does not guarantee good/poor value.

For equities, this means M&G's fund managers build a thorough understanding of each company and sector before deciding whether to invest. They aim to select sound companies whose share prices do not currently reflect the potential value of the businesses.

Equity Investment

M&G has a thorough, disciplined and unique equity investment process, based on a bottom-up investment process in which stock selection is pre-eminent.

Fixed Income Investment

M&G's fixed income investment process progresses through four stages:

(1) identifying value

(2) fundamental in-depth analysis

(3) portfolio construction and

(4) portfolio monitoring.

Asset Allocation

M&G uses a combination of quantitative analysis to identify potential value and fundamental analysis of key economic and market issues to confirm the existence of value.

Dealing

M&G's dedicated dealing teams carry out all trades at the most efficient prices.

Research

M&G places great emphasis on internally generated research. The unique research process is comprehensive and tailored to individual companies and sectors.
